Posted 04 August - AM. pcpunk : the official release iso is not like our TPs, which are all activated now. The official downloader will not allow you to do a clean install until you first upgrade the older Windows. So you have to clone your older Windows first, or effectively you lose it.
This will ONLY upgrade on top of your existing Windows. You can choose to keep all part or none of your old Windows, as you'll see in the options, but you cannot choose 'clean install' until the upgrade step has completed. And you won't know, that's why.
Only after its upgrade is successful, can you then use the same key to do a clean install, download windows 10 disk image (iso file). Because by then, the key will be replaced with a Win10 key. Which means, your old license is terminated, download windows 10 disk image (iso file), replaced with Windows 10 not good, as the Win10 license is conditioned on OEM support for your deviceso can be DOA.
