As the director, producer and cinematographer of the National Geographic Documentary Film FREE SOLOwhich he co-directed with Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, Chin captured rock climber Alex Honnold's nail-biting free solo ascent of Yosemite National Park's El Capitan.
